David Jiménez is the host and creator of the podcast El Director. As a war correspondent, he has covered conflicts in more than 30 countries. He is the author of seven books, including the bestseller El Director, a memoir of his tenure as editor-in-chief of the Spanish newspaper El Mundo.
A feature film based on his life and work is scheduled for release next November.
A Nieman Fellow at Harvard University, Jiménez has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Guardian.
